Field Trip Donations: Please send in your child's $15 field trip donation by this Friday, September 20th. We have some wonderful field trips lined up for the year, and would like to finalize them. If paying by check, please make the check payable to Good Foundations Academy with a memo: For third grade field trips. Thank you for your support.
NWEA Testing: Only one more testing day to go! We will be testing our Language Usage test next Tuesday, September 24th. Remember to help your student get a good night's rest the night before and a healthful breakfast in the morning.
Picture Day is coming up. GFA Picture day is Wednesday, September 25th. Order forms will be coming home soon. Our picture day ID is UM043057Y0.
Engrade Log-in slips went home yesterday. Each student has a username and password to Engrade. Engrade allows you to log-in and view you student's progress at any time during the quarter. A few notes about Engrade:
- Grades will be given based on points available per assignment. For example, if an assignment is worth 25 points, a student who missed 2 would receive a score of 23.
- An "e" entered into the grading field means that a student was excused from an assignment.
- An "m" entered into the grading field means that a student has not yet turned in that assignment, and it is therefore "missing."
- If a grading field is left blank, please do not be alarmed. This does not mean that your child is missing an assignment.
